The Bosie River Festival is one of the best in the country. We had a blast. Craig and I performed as a duo on the acoustic stage in the afternoon and it was fun to let loose in the unstructured format that Craig and I love and just "Walk that Dog" as my friend Tim would say. The crowd was wonderful and we made many friends.

All of the festival folks were so kind including Jeff and Karla, and Tom and Nancy who we would have loved to spend more time getting to know.

We indulged ourselves not once but twice at our favorite little Mediterranean restaurant "The Casba" our compliments and thanks go out to Ali and his family for the superb meals. We also stopped in our other favorite haunt, The Flying "M" for breakfast.

Our good buds Eric Brooks and Jesse Webber joined us for our performance on the main stage. The crowd was huge, and the press was kind saying "the opening act, the Nelson Soucek and Craig James Green Quartet performed a smooth blend of acoustic jazz and world music. You left wishing that these guys would ditch their home town and move to Boise; the capital city's music scene could use talent like that."

Staying in the "Gene Harris" room at the historic Idanha hotel was a special treat, we felt his presence and his inspiration. It was also made special by the fact that they were closing the doors on this Idaho landmark the following week. I understand it will be rennovated and turned into condos, kind of a shame, but better than letting it fall to the wrecking ball.

That's all for now....see you next time!
